Along with its technical abilities, the shape and feel of the camcorder is very comfortable. you hold on to the body with one hand and the folding screen can be tilted and rotated as you record or shoot. This way you don't have stay at a certain angle to see what you are filming. Another cool feature is the controls are places where your thumb naturally sits when handling, making zooming, and multiple picture taking effortless. This camcorder also allows you to take pictures while you shoot video. Case in point, my wife graduated in December so while I was recording her diploma walk in 1080p video, I would press the picture button and the camcorder would take a 2 MP picture without interrupting the recording process. Very useful feature. Comes with a lens cap so the lens doesn't get scratched or dirty. Sense you are getting an "High Definition" camcorder your internal space will run out very fast. The quality of the video is very high but can take up so much space. A 15 minute recording in 1080p can easily take up 2GB. That being said, I will also include a 2GB sd card.
